Thank you

Staff and committee at Noah’s Ark Pre-school would like to take this opportunity to thank all parent/ carers for their support throughout the year 2014-2015.

It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know you, your families and children. We will miss you all but wish you well in your new adventure of getting ready to start Primary school.

We would also like to thank everyone for our gifts, it was very kind of you all and much appreciated.

Thanks to all those who made it to Our Party in the Park. It was a good turn out despite the weather.

This week we have given over our keys to the building to the Builders who will hopefully transform our building in to a much more welcoming environment, offering additional play space for the children which in turn will generate additional space for children in the community.

Building works

We would like to welcome everyone back after half term. We trust you had a nice break.

You will have noticed our building work has commenced. We hope is hasn’t caused you to much disruption.

The children have enjoyed watching the goings on (through the window).

Yesterday we had the concrete poured into the foundations. Exciting times for us all.

Hall renovations

Old Hall renivations

Noah’s Ark is really pleased to announce that From September 2015 we will have a new extension to our existing building. We will also be having some repair works done internally ( which will be carried out during the Summer break). The Hall will be having a new heating system, damp proofing, and plastering. The existing entrance will become a window and the waiting area will become additional space for our children to play in.

This also means that Noah’s Ark will have sole use of some of the building, no more sharing the building with other evening groups.

We will be having a new separate entrance and a disabled toilet. An extra toilet for us means that from September 2015 we can offer 10 additional sessions thus allowing us to have 30 children in any one session.

This is huge for Noah’s Ark as we have fought long and hard to have sole use of the building and to have important maintenance carried out within the building.

This will however mean some disruption outside the setting starting after the Easter break but should not affect Pre-school sessions in any way.

If you would like any further information please see a member of staff.

Plans for the renovations of The Old Hall can be found at The Church Preparatory
